Benchmark Tennis coaches offer after-school tennis instruction to elementary school students. Junior tennis is portable and works great on the blacktop at local schools. We start kids out playing the game on a “court” that is sized down based on their age, using tennis balls that don’t bounce too high. This way, kids can have fun and start to play the game at an early age.

We provide all the equipment, balls, and supplies for kids to have a great time learning the sport of tennis. All coaches are fully certified by Professional Tennis Registry and are insured.

The class focus is on the basic strokes of tennis, working up to the ability to rally, serve, score, and prepare students for match play.

Students should wear tennis shoes and bring a hat and water bottle to class.

Students have the option to purchase a new appropriately sized tennis racquet or they can borrow one for each class or they can bring their own.
