Coach David was named PTR CALIFORNIA MEMBER OF THE YEAR for 2019!

PTR stands for Professional Tennis Registry. PTR is the organization that trains and certified tennis teaching pros in the US and around the world. They hold their members to a very high standard, which makes this award even more amazing! David is one of the few PTR Junior Master Pros in the USA. He trains and certifies other tennis instructors on how to teach kids of all ages.

This award is presented to a member who has shown dedication and diligence in promoting and supporting tennis. This past year, as a PTR 10-U Clinician, David certified over 24 new coaches, received over 60 hours of continued education, participated in grass roots tennis development, and continues to work with juniors daily. David coaches the Junior Recreational Program at Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club. He coaches Red, Orange, and Green Ball juniors from 5-12 years old, providing both proper tennis instruction and a positive environment that encourages players to stay in the game.
